Serving at Heritage

Heritage is always looking for gifted and talented educators who want to develop their skills and talents in an international Christian setting.  We seek teachers who set themselves and their students the highest standards of achievement whilst at the same time are able to create a safe and supportive classroom environment where students can be nurtured. Staff will be expected to sign our Statement of Faith and be committed to the holistic development of the students in their care.

Even though I have worked at Heritage for nearly 30 years, it just seems like yesterday because of the heart and the spirit of the school. All children that come through our gates are seen for who they truly are, and each of their gifts are developed to become the children God has destined them to be. Many of them come back with gratitude for the experiences they had while here at the school, the love and security they received from us in their journey towards maturity, and the Christian foundation we afforded them while here. This is what keeps many of us here year after year. - Laura, Elementary Principal

All teachers should be educated to degree level and have nationally recognised teaching certification from their home country, and at least two years teaching experience. Preference will be given to those who have been trained to teach international curricula. We value staff who can show an ongoing commitment to their own professional development, have taught students from culturally diverse backgrounds and who have previously lived and worked overseas. All our staff are committed Christians and are required to provide a written testimony of their faith journey prior to interview.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Applicants will be subject to child protection screening, including checks with past employers, Interpol Police Clearance and/or authorities in other countries.
