The HIS Home School Link Program
The Home School Link (HSL ) program at HIS is non-academic but rather designed to assist homeschooling students by providing them with permission to borrow books from the Library and opportunities for social interaction through after-school activities as described below:
Heritage Clubs
The Heritage clubs are designed to provide students with a dynamic and diverse range of afterschool activities that go beyond the regular Curriculum. These activities are aimed at fostering spirituality, communication, and personal growth in a fun and supportive environment. The clubs are led by our talented in-house staff. Each activity is crafted to inspire students to explore new interests, develop skills, and connect with peers. These activities include; Brain Science, Model UN, and Spelling Bee, among others.
External Enrichment Clubs
External enrichment clubs such as Young Engineers, Ballet, Taekwondo, Gymnastics, In-Line Skating, etc., offer students the opportunity to explore a wide range of activities led by skilled coaches and trainers. These clubs provide specialized instruction in both athletic and academic fields, allowing students to develop new skills, enhance their talents, and engage in meaningful experiences outside of the traditional classroom setting. From sports and fitness to creative arts and STEM, external enrichment programs foster growth, teamwork, and a well-rounded learning environment.
Academy Sports Programs
Heritage Academy programs focus on enhancing athletes’ skills and abilities through non-competitive, long-term training. These programs emphasize personal growth, technique, and fitness, providing structured sessions throughout the week, with some available on Saturdays. Designed to support sustained athletic improvement, the academies offer specialized coaching in a positive environment that promotes both physical and mental development for long-term success. These include Basketball, Soccer, and swimming among others.
N.B: As per the ISAAK policy, Homeschooling students are not eligible to represent HIS in the ISAAK League.
